Why overlook the subtle blends? Gosset didn't with their Grand brut Rose, and the result – from this blend of 56% Chardonnay and 35% Grand Cru Pinot Black – is this wine, made all the more alluring by its additional red wine content. 9% has been added, and its quality is assured by it coming from Bouzy and Ambonnay. As champagne lovers will know, reserve wines add that special something.

In this case, they've been aged for 2 years to ensure the best product and one that is fortified with balance, flexibility and fruitiness. Also unique in the Gosset Grand pink is its composition from a large majority of white Chardonnay grapes. It all makes for a promising concoction, and one which is salmon pink in colour, as well as strong and bright.
